Church membership and donation tracking - ChurchInfo is free and provides a database of members and visitors of your parish. It is easy to use and can be customized to fit your needs. Pastors can track their visits, make notes, and send emails, print lables. A really great feature is a customizable church directory. It currently Php based and is being upgraded using Java.

 Website development - Joomla software is the best. Many free templates for easy design. Lots of extra modules and components available for free. Used to create orthotracts.org and saintig.org. Somewhat difficult to setup, but once set up, is very easy to maintain and change. Php based.

 FTP software - Filezilla is free and open source. SmartFtp is also excellent and can be upgraded for a price. Both are easy to use.
